Valentin’s introduction to life was not an easy one. He suffered a brain injury at birth resulting in cerebral palsy, CVI, global developmental delays and many other medical complications. Valentin has been in and out of hospitals, gone through multiple surgeries, and powered through intense therapies at only 3 years of age. Despite all the hurdles he’s had to jump, Valentin remains strong and resilient. Join Valentin on his journey through life with Cerebral Palsy and always remember to be #ValiantLikeValentin

Join us for Run For Valentin 5K & 1 Mile, a community event dedicated to supporting Valentin and his family. Proceeds from this event will benefit funds for Valentin's treatments, therapies, and ongoing medical needs. Every registration and every step taken helps provide hope, support, and meaningful assistance throughout his journey.

Whether you're running for a personal best, walking alongside loved ones, or simply showing your support, this event is an opportunity to make a difference while celebrating the strength and compassion of our community.

💚 Event Details

📅 Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
📍 Location: Mission Hike & Bike Trails – Mission, TX

🏃‍♂️ 5K Run: 8:00 a.m.

🚶‍♀️ 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:10 a.m.

🌅 Arrival Time: Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. for parking, stretching, and warm-up activities.

💚 Refreshments and a hydration station will be available after you cross the finish line!

💲 Registration Fee

🏃‍♂️ 5K Run: $35

🚶‍♀️ 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20

👕 T-Shirt Size Deadline: September 12, 2026

Participants registered after this date are not guaranteed their exact race shirt size. Remaining shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis during packet pickup while supplies last.
