Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon Benefiting Colin's Hope

The Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon is more than a multisport race—it is a fun-filled opportunity for kids, families, friends and Adaptive to swim, bike, run, and support an incredible cause!

Every registration and donation helps support Colin’s Hope and its mission to provide water-safety education and prevent childhood drowning. You do not have to be an experienced triathlete to participate—just come ready to have fun, challenge yourself, and make a difference.

So gather your family and friends, sign up, and “Try a Tri” for fun while supporting Colin’s Hope. Together, we can help keep children safer around water!

Event(s) Description

ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH: Young athletes can swim, bike, and run on age-appropriate courses designed to provide a fun, safe, and encouraging race experience. Whether this is your child's first triathlon or they are an experienced youth athlete, all ability levels are welcome.

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: This wave welcomes older youth athletes who want to experience the sport of triathlon in a supportive and family-friendly environment.

FAMILIES AND FRIENDS: Our Family and Friends wave is a recreational event for participants who want to experience a triathlon alongside a family member or friend, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. It is a great opportunity to "Try a Tri" together!

SPLASH AND DASH: We also have Splash and Dash events designed for ages 7-17. Participants will enjoy swimming and running activities in a fun, active environment.

Open to ages 7–17 years

• Youth Jr Age 7-10: 50Y Pool Swim + 2mi Bike + 1K run
• Youth Sr Age 11-15: 100Y Pool Swim + 4mi Bike + 2K run
• High School 16-17: 100Y Pool Swim + 4mi Bike + 2K run

Youth Splash & Dash

Open to ages 7–15 years / Adult Adaptive

• Youth Jr Age 7-10: 50Y Pool Swim + 1K run
• Youth Sr Age 11-15: 100Y Pool Swim + 2K run

Family Tri/Try a Tri and Family Relay

Open to all ages! This special recreational wave is open to anyone who wants to race with a family member or friend, regardless of age or gender.

• 100Y Pool Swim + 4mi Bike + 2K run

Adaptive Swim/Run

• Youth Age 7-17: 50 Swm + 1K Run
• Adult: 100yd Swim + 1K Run

Adaptive Bike/Run

• Youth Age 7-17: 2 Mile Bike + 1K Run
• Adult: 2 mile Bike + 1K Run
