1. Overview

Lone Star Strides (lonestarstrides.com) is operated by Radical Runs LLC. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and your choices. Questions can go to darrin [at] radicalruns [dot] com.

2. Information we collect

Lone Star Strides has no accounts, sign-up forms, or newsletter, so we do not ask you for personal information to use the site. The information we handle is limited to:

• Email you send us. If you email us (for example to suggest a store or race or report a correction), we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Affiliate link clicks. When you click a race registration link that passes through our /go/ redirect, we log the page you clicked from, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string so we can count clicks. We do not record your name or email address with these clicks.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested in order to serve and secure the site.

Searching the race calendar or store directory puts your search terms in the page address so the results can be shown and shared. Those searches are not tied to you.

3. Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies, run analytics or advertising trackers, or build profiles of visitors. If that changes, we will update this policy before it does.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to reply to your emails, verify and correct listings you tell us about, count affiliate clicks, and keep the site running and secure. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing.

5. Third-party services

• Vercel hosts the site and processes request data as described above.
• Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser connects to Google's font servers when a page loads.
• RunSignup handles race registration. Registration links carry our affiliate referral code. Once you leave our site, RunSignup's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.

We link to race websites, running stores, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. See our affiliate disclosure for how affiliate links work.

6. Data retention

We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections. Click and server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider and are not used to identify individual visitors.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing darrin [at] radicalruns [dot] com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
