About Quanah Hill Uprising
QUANAH HILL UPRISING 2027
8 LAPS. 5,280 FEET. 6 HOURS. ONE EPIC CHALLENGE.
Saturday, January 23, 2027 | Quanah Hill | Weatherford, Texas
One Day. One Trail. One Hell of a Challenge.
The Quanah Hill Uprising is back for 2027, and we're raising the stakes.
Forget your average mountain bike race. This is a battle against the clock, the terrain, and your own limits.
Eight laps. More than 5,280 feet of climbing. Just six hours to get it done.
One full vertical mile of punishment.
Whether you're brave enough to tackle the mountain solo or ready to assemble a team and take on the challenge together, Quanah Hill Uprising is where endurance meets determination.
And for 2027, we've got some serious hardware waiting for those who conquer it.
THE MILE HIGH CHALLENGE
Can You Conquer 5,280 Feet in Six Hours?
Eight laps of Quanah Hill.
Six hours on the clock.
Over one vertical mile of climbing.
Sounds simple enough, right?
Think again.
Quanah Hill is relentless. The climbs don't get shorter. Your legs don't get fresher. And the clock doesn't give a damn how tired you are.
Every lap takes something out of you. Every climb demands more than the last. And somewhere along the way, you'll find yourself questioning why you signed up in the first place.
That's when the real challenge begins.
You've got two ways to conquer the mountain.
SOLO MILE HIGH CHALLENGE
One Rider. Eight Laps. No Excuses.
This one's personal.
No teammates to share the workload. No substitutions. No one to take over when your legs start screaming.
Just you, your bike, and eight brutal laps of Quanah Hill.
Complete the full Mile High Challenge within the six-hour cutoff, and you'll earn something that can't be bought.
A brand-new, exclusive 2027 Quanah Hill Uprising Finisher's Belt Buckle.
We're introducing an entirely new belt buckle design for 2027, created specifically to recognize riders who conquer the Solo Mile High Challenge.
This isn't your typical participation award.
It's a symbol of grit, perseverance, and the willingness to keep turning pedals when everything in your body tells you to stop.
You don't buy this buckle. You earn it.
The mountain doesn't care how strong you think you are.
Come prove it.
TEAM MILE HIGH CHALLENGE
Assemble Your Crew. Conquer the Mountain.
Eight laps. Six hours. One team.
Think you've got a crew that can take down Quanah Hill?
Prove it.
The Team Mile High Challenge is back for 2027, and this year we're putting even more emphasis on the power of teamwork.
Grab your riding partner, build your strategy, and get ready for six hours of tag-team mountain bike racing.
One rider on course at a time. Every lap matters. Every handoff counts.
You'll have to balance speed, endurance, strategy, and a little bit of suffering to get all eight laps completed before the clock runs out.
And don't think for a second that the team challenge comes with a lesser reward.
NEW FOR 2027: EXCLUSIVE TEAM FINISHER AWARDS
Teams that successfully complete all eight laps within six hours will earn their own exclusive Quanah Hill Uprising Team Mile High Challenge Finisher Award.
Different from the Solo Belt Buckle, but every bit as unique, impressive, and hard-earned.
We're creating something special for the teams that conquer the mountain together.
Because completing 5,280 feet of climbing is an accomplishment worth celebrating, whether you do it alone or alongside your teammate.
Build your team. Develop your strategy. Earn your hardware.
The mountain is waiting.
NOT READY FOR EIGHT LAPS?
We've Still Got a Challenge With Your Name on It.
You don't have to conquer the full Mile High Challenge to experience the Uprising.
We're bringing back additional race distances for riders who want to push their limits without committing to the full six-hour battle.
